though our romance had its end I had naively held the hope that we could remain friends until this life ends call me Selfish, but I loved you, your warmth though there was no longer that which lovers own you too deny being in love and as the tears run down I look through into your eyes and know the pain you feel my own flow also, they trickle down the inside as I try my best to hide behind a hedge of wit my face a mask, at the end you ask of me a final word or two All I can manage is "Ganbare!" and "I'll really miss you." I try my best to reconcile to realize just what it means to have lost you as a friend forever, and that I'll never see you again as I turn to walk away I feel the wind blow through me through the hole, through the empty place where once there was your smile |
