The man, a living solar cell, absorbs a stellar energy and stores it in the body's well to draw upon daily. The star's rays fall upon our bodies; they crystallize in our own blood, repeatedly renewing us as resurrection would. With its energy we digest, metabolize and procreate. By its rays the race is thus blessed to live, to love, to wrestle Fate. O Starry Fire, I here acknowledge Thy power to save, Thy power to damn and that by Thy Light I am empowered to be the Being that I Am. |
