[ Star Struck :: 2007-05-21 ]

A speck of dust from some distant star,
the world in a grain of sand
washed up on the beach from a planet afar,
an embrace from a far-away land.

The star's light a twinkle in Eternity's eye,
the spark in your eye from that gleam.
All of Nature the sweet breath of Divinity
our lives lived when She sees a dream.

The Universe seen in your sparkling eyes,
the pure living pulse of the galaxies grand,
the love of the great All-In-One as it cries
out in rapture at the touch of your hand.

Everything in a pebble, a raindrop, a blade
of green grass that the summer wind blows;
Your laughter from Nature's grand symphony made,
your eyes all the Universe knows.

If the night sky an infinite goddess would be,
the stars her lithe body's design,
its her voice that I hear when you whisper to me
and our Love her own heartbeat divine.
