They rattle and clack
from the rack behind the closet door
where I’d buried them years before

Dry bones hang
loosely bang together like old trees
attached only with faded memories

The sound came from within
a lifeless limb knocking on wood to call
for reconciliation of it all

These dead bones
of the past had known that now
I could grant them life somehow

My magick maturing
for curing the pain of the past
ready for resurrection at last

My stars and a smile
dissolve vile Samael’s hand
as Kalodaimon takes command

Mudras form
sinews worm their way among the bones
flesh appears and the body is a home

Prana breathed
a miracle achieved as light reaches the eyes
Life inhaled by that which had died

Resurrected
old bones now perfected as a Body of Light
the Creator too rewarded with new power of insight
